THIS WEEK

So.  How was your week?

Mine was okay. Nothing to write home about.

Same old, same old.

Oh, I had a cortisone shot this week for my aching right shoulder. Too many paddle tennis overheads from years ago are taking a toll. Hope the shot works.

And I started physical therapy this week for my left arm. Yeah. I took a bad fall in my kitchen seven weeks ago. Broke my radius bone.  The black corset-style cast I’ve worn since has joined the brigade of ace bandages in the bathroom closet. 

And those daffodil bulbs I ordered a month ago? Still hadn’t arrived and the Maine tundra is turning to cement.  So I called the company this week, and we had a nice chit-chat, and they told me, “We’re shipping today, they’ll be there by the weekend.”  Great news.

This week I sent a birthday card to my friend Katie in North Carolina. Uh oh, senior moment time. Her birthday is actually next week.

I also knitted a couple of cute hats in chunky lavender wool for friend’s grand-babies. Mailing them out today.

That’s about it.
