A CONCERT ... A FALL ... AN UPDATE

Two weeks ago, the “Bob Marier & Friends” concert was held in Trinity Chapel at Kennebunk Beach. Bob and his Friends (Mark Gunter on keyboard, Don Wessels on electric guitar and harmonica, Hal Hannaford on percussion, accompanied by Maine’s most talented chanteuse, Lisa Mills) played to a full and enthusiastic house.
Alas, the fun evening ended with a bang when Bob fell, broke four ribs and ended up in the hospital. He is doing as well as can be expected today, still in some pain and moving a bit gingerly, but already working on a new song. (He’s also had time to study umpteen golf videos and announced yesterday, “I’ve found a new swing.”) There’s no holding him back!
